Trying to find a link between the serious world of fashion, and my comedic style of work, I have come across these videos.

Mature Style
After having a tutorial I feel like im back on track with my true self, the illustrations that I have been doing recently are too serious, and not really portraying me and my thoughts/opinions on fashion.
YouTube has become a really quick, easy and very efficent way for me to research, with just a few key words, I am able to find what i want.
So, an idea that I'm going to start looking at today is fashion for older women, whether it's keeping up with current trends, or living as a blast from the past.

The possibilities are endless
I found this image on google and loved the style, the silver, the shapes, and anything else starting with the letter S!
After finding this photo, i then came across the video which it has come from.
This is a catwalk video, showcasing the clothes of Turkish/ British Fashion Designer, Hussein Chalayan.
Lacoste
Another futuristic video, this time an advert by Lacoste.
Celebrating their 75th birthday in 2008, this is how they see the future, for tennis!

Sparkly Scribbles
Using the acetate that i originally drew onto from fashion images out of magazines,( found: Next advert and Star magazine), i have now added a splash of colour, with nail polish.
Typography plays a big part in advertising as well as the product, so i added the word 'living', using the front of an Argos catologue, just to test out how lettering fits into the image.
