Corey Miller
I have always enjoyed tattoos as living visual art. "L.A Ink" has been a favourite T.V show in my house since it began, i like it so much so that it encouraged me to get my two tattoos.
Corey Miller, who starred in the show, but also has his own tattoo shop "Six Feet Under", is in my opinion, probably the best artist of the show.
The precision, the detail, the similarity to the original image, the shading... everything is to the highest quality, a real talented artist.
Here are some of my favourite portraits, and a lovely cartoon chick!

Hopefully i will be going down to Nottingham within the next fortnight, and this New Art Exchange gallery is in my top 5 places visit.
The New Art Exchange has been around since 2003, designed by Hawkins Brown architect company, in hopes of becoming Nottingham’s first dedicated cultural facility for Black contemporary arts.

One of my colleagues at Batley School of Art, Hannah Tiffany, is currently exhibiting in Lawrence Batley Theatre, Huddersfield.
She is also attending HOST, and now has a website, which highly recommend anybody intersted in interesting things to visit!

Getting inspired
Looking at a book that I recently purchased at waterstones, 'This is not a book' By Keri Smith, I am so inspired to get back to my drawing table and crank some work out for the summer project before starting the third and final year of my degree!
this book is full of fun ideas of what to do to get those creative juices flowing in the dreary wet holidays!
I stummbled upon a website, 'Doodlers Anonymous', crammed with great Artist info, including interviews, previews of work, And a shop for buying these great pieces!!
