whitby trip
Yesterday i came back from visiting my gradmother in Whitby, and on our walk around the town, i noticed a little art gallery which i have never realised was there on past trips, "THE ART CAFE".
In the window i spotted some interesting jewellry, created by "ELLYMENTAL", and as it was reasonablly priced, i decided to treat myself to a winged necklace.
The peices are made up of found emphemera, usuaully 1950's paper cuttings, and then they are glued and varnished to give the final piece a shiny look to them, before the silver is added to make the peices wearable.
